I’m an alcoholic, Into Action is my home group, my sobriety date is March

20,1986 and my name is Sharon G. 

Thank you for being here as we learn and share on how we strive to Carry the Message in District 9, 

Broward County. July, another busy month, your district officers met last Sunday night, 

next weekend we hope to see everyone in Tampa for our July Quarterly Assembly. 

Plus planning meetings are coming up – Gratitude Dinner and

Carrying the Message. Our Area 15 Chair, Donna W, will be hosting District Chairs and Alt

Chairs this coming Thursday evening, which allows us to share and learn from each other.

Today we will be holding an election to fill our District 9 Grapevine Committee Chair, as Micah D

announced he was standing down last month as he will be moving to New Jersey at the end of

this month. A few weeks ago, I spoke with Chris P, Our District 9 Literature Committee Chair, he

advised he needed to step down due to personal and family issues. He and his family are

moving to Indiana. We will be sending out that job description for an election for the Literature

position in August. In the meantime, you can access the job description in Current Practices at

district9aa.org in the document section. A very big thank you to them both for their service to

our district and fellowship. 

Just a reminder, We, District 9 officers, District 9 Committee Chairs,

ADCMs and DCMs, are here to serve you, the GSRs, and the groups. Please don’t hesitate to
